H.E.S Classic SAE 50 Mineral Oil

CLASSIC SAE 50 is a high quality, monograde non-detergent oils primarily for pre-1950 veteran, vintage and classic engines which require this type of oil.

Designed for engines without modern filtration systems where a non-detergent lubricant is specified, and formulated to protect period seal and gasket materials. Primarily for use in pre-1950 car, motorcycle and light commercial 4 stroke engines, both petrol and diesel, but can also be used in period gearboxes where an API GL-1 gear oil is required.

Note: these non-detergent formulations are not suitable for use in many automotive engines built after 1951 – use in more modern engines may cause unsatisfactory performance or possible equipment harm – please check compatibility before use.
