H.E.S Classic SAE 50 Non-Detergent Mineral Oil

A high-quality SAE 50 monograde, non-detergent mineral oil developed for older engines and machinery where this type of lubricant is specified.

Suitable for

H.E.S. Classic SAE 50 is primarily intended for:

• Pre-1950 veteran, vintage and classic cars
• Classic and vintage motorcycles
• Light commercial 4-stroke engines
• Petrol and diesel engines designed for non-detergent oils
• Period gearboxes where an API GL-1 gear oil is specified

The formulation is designed for applications without modern filtration systems and is formulated to be compatible with period seal and gasket materials.

Important — please check compatibility

Non-detergent oils are not suitable for many automotive engines built after 1951.

Using the wrong lubricant can result in unsatisfactory performance or possible equipment damage. Always check your vehicle or machinery manufacturer's recommendations before use.
